2degrees is an on-line platform for building green business networks. Our members receive free access to 2degrees, which enables them to network with sustainable events and locate service providers in the sustainable business community.
Business for Social Responsibility
Business for Social Responsibility (BSR) is a nonprofit business association that provides socially-responsible business solutions to many of the world’s leading corporations. We are working with BSR to pilot a climate change training project - “Decarbonising the Supply Chain” - based in China.
Cleantech Network
Since 2002, the Cleantech Group has been tracking investments, facilitating capital for entrepreneurs, helping large organizations accelerate savings from clean technologies and fostering connections in the industry.
Carbon Disclosure Project
The Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) is an independent not-for-profit organisation which acts as an intermediary between shareholders and corporations on all climate change related issues. The organisation provides primary climate change data from the world’s largest corporations, to the global market place.
GeSI
The Global e-Sustainability Initiative (GeSI) is an international partnership of ICT companies and industry associations committed to promoting technologies and practices that foster sustainability and drive economic growth. GeSi worked closely with us to deliver the Smart2020 report, which through qualitative and quantitative sector analysis develops a compelling case for ICT’s role in the low carbon future.
ICLEI
ICLEI - Local Governments for Sustainability is an international association of local governments as well as national and regional local government organizations that have made a commitment to sustainable development.
International Emissions Trading Association
IETA is the most well-recognised business association that works solely on emissions trading and carbon markets. A founding partner of the VCS, IETA supplied the initiative both leading intellectual thought on carbon market design and direct experience with what works in practice.
World Resources Institute
World Resource Institute (WRI) is a non-profit environmental think tank that goes beyond research to find practical ways to protect the earth and improve people’s lives. Since 2005, The Climate Group has teamed up with WRI to deliver the Green Power Market Development Group–Europe (“GPMDG-EU). We work together—along with some of the world’s biggest and best-known companies—to build corporate demand for renewable energy.
World Business Council for Sustainable Development
WBSCD is the largest business association that works directly on sustainable development issues. Their partnership enabled the VCS initiative to access and engage over 200 large companies globally in the development of the VCS.
