Meeting with Wang Shi, Chairman of Vanke - the world largest property developer from China

by Changhua Wu, Greater China Director, The Climate Group.

(November 16, 2012)

While in Dubai at the World Economic Forum, I met with Chairman Wang Shi of Vanke, the world largest property developer, who is from China.

We shared our views on China's clean revolution, in particular in the context of the property development and green building sectors. We discussed in length how Vanke has been leading China’s property development sector towards a green, low carbon and resource efficient future.

Exchanging views on some potential areas that we could work together in the future, it became clear that Vanke will become a global clean revolution leader in its sector soon.

You can read more about Vanke's sustainability initiatives here. Read an overview of Vanke, Wang Shi and their green efforts on this China Daily Green profile for Vanke.
