Neal McGrath

Neal is a career communications professional. He spent nine years working in business journalism and publishing, holding positions with the Economist Intelligence Unit and later a monthly business magazine.

In 1997 he joined Ketchum Public Relations, representing clients such as United Airlines, Federal Express, Charles Schwab and the erstwhile Pharmacia & Upjohn. He later joined Pharmacia & Upjohn full-time, raising awareness of diseases, working with patient support groups in information campaigns and influencing policy on treatment options and medicine availability. Neal later turned his attention to internal communications, first with British Telecom and later with The McGraw-Hill Companies.

Neal has lived, studied and worked in a number of countries, having spent part of his university years in Germany, then working in Singapore and Hong Kong for 15 years before returning to his native New York.
