NOTICE OF INTENT TO SUBMIT PROPOSAL IN THE LIGHTSAVERS LED TRIAL IN LONDON, UK 

Companies interested in making submissions for this trial should fill in the information required below, check the boxes and then press the SUBMIT button. TCG and TfL staff will review responses to the Notice of Intent according to the accompanying weighting table. If satisfactory, you will be invited to make a full submission. The selection of the supplier will be based on the review of the submission in terms of quality and completeness in meeting the requirements below.

Deadline for submission of the Letter of Intent is midnight November 1, 2010 (GMT). You will be notified whether your response is satisfactory by November 29, 2010. Only those proponents whose response is satisfactory will be notified.

Can you provide documentation that verifies the product you propose complies with BS EN 60598-1:2008 Luminaires: General Requirements and Tests? *

Will the luminaire you propose meet lighting design class ME2 referred to in BS 13201-2:2003 at the site indicated above (see Supplier Notice). *

Can you provide a site-specific photometric modeling report in your submission that confirms that your product complies with ME2? *

Can you provide IP65 or IP66 test certification regarding ingress protection (also see BE EN 60529)? *

Can you provide an IESNA LM79 certification report? *

Can you provide an IESNA LM80 lumen depreciation test report for the LED chips in your product? *

Can you offer a 5-year warranty (or better)? *

Is your product available commercially now in the U.K.? *

Will your product accommodate an auxiliary remote streetlight monitoring and management system such as a CMS (telemanagement). *
