UK-India Business Leaders Climate Group – report launch

The UK-India Business Leaders Climate Group will meet in London in November to call for closer trade ties on clean technologies to boost efforts to grow their economies, create jobs and meet national emissions targets.

The diverse group of influential CEOs and senior business leaders from the UK and India will present a new ‘Charter of Principles’ to Minister of State for Energy and Climate Change, Gregory Barker, recommending practical ways India and the UK can together unlock a new era of green growth and economic collaboration.

The Group previously met in New Delhi in July during the UK Prime Minister’s visit to India holding a working meeting to refine the recommended principles and actions.
