Among the clean technology portfolio, Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) is regarded as having great emissions reduction potential. In China, where the energy sector is highly dependent on coal, CCS is considered as having an important impact on future national energy security and also the fulfillment of national emissions reductions commitments.

The Climate Group interviewed 30 experts and various stakeholders in CCS, they carried out intensive research, and summarized the key findings in this Towards Market Transformation - CCS in China Report.
