US Policy

Our US Policy Program brings business and government leaders together to create progress towards a workable national climate policy and a robust global deal on climate change.  We do this in two main ways:

Policy Research

Our research provides policymakers with key information on the economic opportunities associated with national and global climate policies.  Our reports are disseminated globally at the highest levels of government and featured in local, national and international press.

  • American Innovation: Manufacturing Low Carbon Technologies in the Midwest (To be released)
Projects increases in market growth, tax revenue and job creation from the manufacture of key low-carbon technologies, like wind turbine components, hybrid drive trains and advanced batteries in the Midwest
  • Technology for a Low Carbon Future
Shows that over 70% of the reductions needed by 2020 can be achieved by investing in three areas: energy efficiency, deforestation and lower-carbon energy sources

Meetings & Events

We bring business and government leaders together to discuss the most challenging climate policy issues.  Through public events like Climate Week NYC and private meetings like the Gathering of One Hundred, we challenge our members and partners to find the solutions that will lead to progress.
