Energy & Climate Minister Gregory Barker will visit several East Coast cities to meet with policymakers, leading business representatives and local NGOs to discuss how to advance private capital at scale for low carbon investments in emerging and developing economies, and the opportunities available in the development of clean energy.

A breakfast discussion, co-hosted by the British Consul General, Deutsche Bank Climate Change Advisors, and The Climate Group, with UK Minister of State for Energy & Climate Change Gregory Barker. Investors and asset managers will discuss how to mobilize private capital at scale for low carbon investments in emerging and developing economies, including the recently launched Capital Markets Climate Initiative (CMCI).
Lunch: 12pm - 2pm, O'Melveny & Myers LLP, Conference Room 30 (30th Floor), Times Square Tower, 7 Times Square, New York NY 10036
The lunch meeting is co-hosted by the British Consul General Sir Alan Collins, The Climate Group and O'Melveny & Myers, and is a select group of local and regional government officials and NGOs will discuss challenges and opportunities in clean energy and energy efficiency deployment, including policies that support (or impede) their development.
