Climate change used to be seen only in terms of the costs of action; now, astounding profits and rates of return are catching the eye of entrepreneurs and investors around the world. The Business Summit on Climate Leadership 2010 (BSCL 2010) is poised to foster a substantive dialogue with about 150 international and regional business leaders on the challenges and opportunities in an emerging low carbon economy in the Asia Pacific region and beyond. The summit will also provide the business community with invaluable information and business cases in strengthening capabilities to step up efforts to adopt and finance low carbon technologies.

The summit will provide an unparalleled platform for the private sector to:

  • Capture the 'megatrends' of climate change and make business sense of them, with a focus on the return on investment from a corporate perspective;
  • Drive market transformation to achieve a low carbon economy, harnessing both profitability and sustainability;
  • Discuss ways to overcome the challenges and seize opportunities to create green growth.

The Business Summit on Climate Leadership 2010 is the single best occasion for delegates to discuss the current conditions and future prospects of climate business to materialize green growth by leveraging talents and resources in the region.
