Climate Week NY˚C - Financing Smart Cities, States & Regions: Policies to Stimulate the Growth of Emerging Technologies

Smart policies that stimulate private finance are crucial to enable the rapid scale-up of clean technologies. Some cities, states and regions have already created policies that support the growth of low carbon technologies, create jobs and provide a profit through private financing.

On the second day of Climate Week NY°C, The Climate Group will host a high-level discussion, where government and business leaders will share success stories and help others to develop and implement policies that will have the same impact in their own regions. Participants will also explore opportunities for new and innovative finance measures that can accelerate public funding as well as attract private sector investment into clean technology.
