On Thursday, March 17 we will launch the first ever India's Clean Revolution report, an exploration of the innovative low carbon policies being adopted by India’s government and business leaders. The report illustrates how India has a unique role to play in a global clean industrial revolution – one that will cut national emissions and boost the country’s jobs, growth and development.
As this country of over 1 billion people looks to balance its environmental responsibilities with rapid economic growth, national efforts to develop clean energy and energy efficiency presents major opportunities for India’s power, manufacturing, technology and finance sectors.
The launch event will be presided over by Shri Suresh Prabhu, Former Minister of Energy and Environment, Government of India, with a key note speech by Shri Jairam Ramesh, Hon’ble Minister of Environment and Forests, Government of India. The report launch will be followed by a panel discussion by eminent Indian government and business leaders.
