States and Regions: Technologies and targets on the road to Mexico

The State of North Rhine Westphalia and The Climate Group will host a high-level meeting of sub-national leaders in Bonn, Germany on June 2nd, halfway towards COP16 in Cancun, Mexico.

Focusing on low carbon policy and technology, the meeting will provide a platform to announce new commitments from business and governments aimed at accelerating the development of the low carbon economy. These announcements will come at an important time, sending a message from Bonn to the international community.

This meeting will be the second in our 2010 schedule of sub-national government meetings, with the first held in Paris on March 4th. Below is a draft agenda.
