February

Forward Chicago

Early February

Chicago, IL

Mayor Richard M. Daley has taken ambitious steps to make Chicago the greenest, most environmentally friendly city in the country, and the Olympic bid committee, Chicago 2016, is working to make its bid proposal as green as possible to leave an environmentally sustainable Olympic legacy to the City of Chicago. To support these complementary objectives, The Climate Group has developed an unprecedented program called Forward Chicago, which will engage Chicago's leading businesses to work in partnership with the City of Chicago, Chicago 2016, and prominent non-profit organizations to scale up and showcase their efforts to green Chicago and green the Olympic bid.
