To facilitate a wider adoption of LED lighting locally, The Climate Group has set up the LED Lighting Deployment Advisory Council in Hong Kong, China, which comprises representatives from government agencies, professional bodies, industry practitioners, potential end users, financiers, power sector, and academics.

The Advisory Council provides a platform for these sectors to exchange information and ideas, to identify obstacles to the deployment of LED lighting, and to explore policies, financing mechanisms and incentives that would overcome such barriers.

These communications will help devise a roadmap for Hong Kong to accelerate the adoption of this low carbon technology.

The Third LED Lighting Deployment Advisory Council will take place from 4pm - 6pm and is by invitation only.
