Sub-forum of China's 2013 Eco-Forum Global: Digging urban mines – resources reusing

Hosted by the China Association of Resources Comprehensive Utilization and the Guiyang Municipal Bureau of City Administration and Law Enforcement, the 2013 Eco-Forum Global, will see more than a thousand political leaders, entrepreneurs, experts and scholars gather in Guiyang to discuss 'Building the Eco-civilization: Green Transformation and Transition'.

During the Forum, The Climate Group, together with the China Association of Resources Comprehensive Utilization and Guiyang Municipal Bureau of City Administration and Law Enforcement will host the sub-forum - 'Digging urban mines - Urban resources reusing'. The sub-forum will be divided into two modules:

  • Urban waste collection and disposal
  • Construction waste recycling

According to each module, the participants, who will be made up of experts, government policymakers, advanced business representatives and social organizations, will bring their unique insights together to explore solutions around resource utilization of urban waste.
