City Carbon Portal — Cap and Trade Experience Sharing Workshop

The Climate Group Hong Kong is initiating a workshop to bring together the experience of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government with city emission exchanges in China, to look into city cap and trade designs, and in particular, how buildings are being included in the schemes.

Our expert speakers of six Chinese cities (Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Wuhan and Hangzhou) plus Tokyo, will share their insights on the planning, success, and challenges of their cap and trade and efficiency programs.

Participants will join the discussion with representatives from the NDRC, MoHURD and Tsinghua University on how to scale up incentives to unlock green building investment in Hong Kong and regionally.
