The world's leaders are gathering in Rio, in June, for what is going to be the biggest ever forum on the state of the planet - the Rio+20 Earth Summit. The Climate Group will be there. 

Alongside this pivotal event we will be launching our three year initiative which targets the most influential people in government, business and society to drive a new industrial revolution: a  Clean Revolution.

At the Clean Revolution Leadership Summit in Rio, we will be doing what we have always done best: convening, energizing and inspiring the world's decision makers. We will be giving them a platform to highlight the role of innovation to address climate change and resource scarcity, and showcase how leadership towards a low carbon future can unlock real benefits today. 

The summit will focus on results, action and opportunities. Highlights include:

• A high-level launch reception
• An overview of political leadership for a Clean Revolution, with a focus on China's emerging global role 
• The World Summit of States and Regions in partnership with Rio State and nrg4SD
• The launch of the 'Lighting the Clean Revolution' report on the economics of LED lighting, in partnership with Philips
• A showcase of innovative, low carbon solutions in partnership with UN Global Compact
