Just 3 days left for Global Cleantech Summit early-bird tickets

BEIJING: Discounted tickets to the Global Cleantech Summit – the international forum for low carbon technological progress - are only available for three more days.

The summit, which will be held in Beijing on September 11-12, provides a unique opportunity to explore this dynamic global industry which is forecasted to be worth over US$4 trillion by 2025.

Aspiring cleantech entrepreneurs will share a platform with established leaders in tech innovation and high profile investors over the two day special event which The Climate Group is hosting in partnership with Cleantech Scandinavia and the Cleantech Group, with the support of The Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation as strategic partner.

As the largest market for cleantech today, China occupies a prominent position on the agenda. The Asian giant’s market is expected to be worth US$2.2 trillion by 2020, and the first plenary session What China Needs and Why? will address the challenges to achieving this growth. Similarly, The Gateway to China examines how foreign companies can penetrate this fast, disruptive domestic market.

"This summit will provide an excellent platform for cleantech companies around the world to take part in the growing Chinese market for cleantech solutions", remarked Magnus Agerström, Managing Director of fellow strategic partner Cleantech Scandinavia.

With knowledge partners such as Deloitte and the International Finance Corporation from the World Bank Group, the Summit will also have a strong business focus, with day two featuring a session on Financial Solutions for Cleantech Growth – Unlocking Private Finance for Green Growth.

“Cleantech is one of the most exciting areas of low carbon opportunity today. Since 2007 we’ve seen the global market grow at a rate of 12% a year and analysts are now predicting it could be worth as much as US$4.4 trillion by 2025, observed Changhua Wu, Greater China Director of The Climate Group.

“This is an emerging industry which you can’t afford to ignore. The Global Cleantech Summit provides a unique platform for discovery, networking and knowledge exchange between tech entrepreneurs, investors, policy experts and business professionals. Register today and avail of our early-bird tickets – you won’t want to miss it!”

There are just three days left to purchase the US $800 advance tickets, with further discounts available for multiple purchases.
