Shan Ren joins The Climate Group as an Analyst, focusing on analysis and research on policy, region and financing related programs.

Shan is interested in Chinese environmental policy research, regional low carbon evolution and renewable energy development. She has participated in the planning of urban circular economy development strategy, renewable electricity tariff research and some related programs. Shan’s views about climate change have been publicized on Chinese mainstream newspaper and magazines. She has partly contributed to the China Clean Revolution report.

Shan earned MA in Economics, focusing on regional low carbon development.
