Suyang works as Media Officer for The Climate Group, assisting with media relations and communications to help the organization reach its goals and objectives.

Suyang started his career here as an intern for three months, focusing on social media research; action on climate change via the application of social media is of great interest to Suyang, as well as the ability to connect The Climate Group with mass media. 

After the 2008 Wenchuan Earthquake, Suyang volunteered in the post-disaster reconstruction of Beichuan Middle School. As of August 2010, he participated in producing a Chinese textbook for an international audence called 'Living China in CRI English Worldwide'.

Suyang holds a Bachelor degree in Experimental Class for Humanities from Wuhan University. Experimental Class specialized in Chinese literature, history and philosophy.
