The companies business activities focus on real estate and financial investments, including the hotel and restaurant sector, with the goal to contribute to the construction of an international and sustainable city of science and finance. YLVA joined through the Net Zero Carbon Buildings pathway, committing to owning, occupying and developing only assets that are net zero carbon by 2025.

Yanbu Cement Company (YCC) is one of the largest cement manufacturers in Saudi Arabia. The company has committed to implement an energy management system (EnMS) across all operations by 2030, and improve energy productivity by 30%  by 2025 relative to a 2010 baseline. YCC has taken significant steps to improve its energy productivity, including replacing its main kiln and calciner burners with new efficient models. It is also investing in waste heat recovery to generate power, as well as computer software to operate its cement mills more efficiently.

WSP UK is part of one of the world’s largest multi-disciplinary professional services firms. Their aim is to futureproof cities and the environment. They plan, design, manage and engineer long lasting and impactful solutions to uniquely complex problems in the built and natural environment, designing an area of approximately 46 million ft2 annually

Worley is an Australian engineering company that provides project delivery and consulting services to the resources and energy sectors, and complex process industries. Worley has committed to implement an energy management system (EnMS) across all operations by 2022, and improve energy productivity by 25% by 2030 relative to a 2020 baseline.

Willmott Dixon is a privately-owned, British contracting company. Their purpose is to deliver brilliant buildings, transform lives, strengthen communities, and enhance the environment so our world is fit for future generations. As an EP100 member, Willmott Dixon will work with current and future landlords to reach net-zero carbon energy performance targets for their occupied offices and continue to procure 100% renewable energy. 

Wereldhave is a real estate investment company that is committed to investing in a better tomorrow, by creating best-in-class retail real estate Full Service Centres that improve everyday life, business, and the environment. The company joined through the Net Zero Carbon Buildings pathway, committing to owning, occupying and developing only assets that are net zero carbon by 2030. 

Watkins Payne Ltd offers a comprehensive consultancy service covering all aspects of building services including mechanical, electrical, public health, fire protection and vertical transportation. They have a growing sustainability specialism, as a registered Design for Performance delivery partner, with an aim to drive to reduce in-use carbon.

Vornado Realty Trust owns, manages and develops office and retail assets. The company has committed to implement an energy management system (EnMS) across all operations by 2029, and improve energy productivity by 35% by 2026 relative to a 2009 baseline. Vornado’s two-pronged approach targets energy consumed by both the landlord and the tenant, building strong partnerships with tenants to identify areas of excess energy consumption and facilitate behavioural change. This work is accompanied by Vornado’s ongoing commitment to deep energy retrofits and smart building technology.  

United Metal Coating (UMC) are a Pre-Painted Aluminium and Steel coils manufacturer. UMC strives towards creating a net positive manufacturing factory environment with a vision to promote net zero embodied carbon emissions. UMC has joined through the Net Zero Carbon Buildings pathway, committing to only occupying net zero carbon manufacturing facilities by 2030.

UltraTech Cement is one of the world’s leading cement producers, and the largest manufacturer of grey cement, Ready Mix concrete (RMC) and white cement in India. The company sees the improvement of its energy performance as one of the critical levers for reducing the carbon intensity of its operations and has already invested in energy efficiency measures across its manufacturing plants, including cooler upgrades, voltage variable frequency drives and waste heat recovery systems. UltraTech Cement has committed to double energy productivity by 2035 relative to a 2010 baseline.
