Head of Climate Week

Adam is Head of Climate Week. Climate Week NYC is the biggest Climate Week on earth, and brings together international leaders from the worlds of business, government and the sector to accelerate climate action, taking place annually to coincide with the United Nations General Assembly. Heading up the Climate Week team, based in London and New York, this includes responsibility for The Climate Group’s work with the UNCC (United Nations Climate Change) on the regional Climate Week program in Latin America, Africa and Asia Pacific. Prior this this Adam was interim Head of Media and Corporate Communications at The Climate Group.

Previously Adam served as European Head of Communications for the International Rescue Committee, acting as a member of the Senior Management Team and supporting their global communications strategy. This role included overseeing the Rohingya response as well as the refugee crisis in the Mediterranean. Other roles include Head of Communications for the UK poverty charity Turn2us –  overseeing a major rebrand and team merger; advisor to the Press Complaints Commission in the aftermath of the phone hacking scandal; communications lead for Total Politics Magazine, and Dods Parliamentary Services – managing a number of high profile campaigns in Westminster. He is former columnist and political editor and interim editor for Pinknews, Europe’s largest LGBT news outlet. He is a Trustee for the Lewisham Refugees and Migrants Network.
