Sandra Roling, The Climate Group

Sandra is leading the development of The Climate Group’s new corporate leadership initiative on electro-mobility, EV100, to bring together major global companies to make public commitments to EV uptake across their influence areas. As part of the corporate programs team, Sandra also contributes to the development of The Climate Group’s broader corporate leadership work, in particular currently the development of EU advocacy work for the RE100 campaign.

A German national, she has previously lived in Brussels for seven years, setting up the EU office and heading the public affairs team of a German political communications agency and representing an international environmental organization, before she eventually joined The Climate Group’s European team. Sandra has held various positions developing The Climate Group’s engagement work with companies as well as sub-national governments, as well as was part of the founding secretariat for the We Mean Business coalition, a platform bringing together the major global business networks working on climate change to jointly drive corporate ambition for the low-carbon economy. 

Sandra holds a B.A. in European Studies from the University of Osnabrück, Germany, as well as an M.A. in Central and Eastern European Studies from the Jagiellonian University in Cracow, Poland, and an MSc in Sustainable Development from the University of Exeter, UK.
