About the project
Regional greenhouse gas inventories provide the level of detail policymakers need to understand their emission sources and trends. This is essential to enhance the design of their emissions reduction strategies.
Climate Group, as Secretariat of the Under2 Coalition, continues to support states and regions with the development of their regional greenhouse gas inventories.
Phase I of the Climate Footprint Project worked with seven states and regions. Phase II of the project is building on the success of the first phase, offering more targeted interventions to ten further states and regions.
