Join the Climate Week NYC online community

22 August 2014

NEW YORK: The sixth annual Climate Week will be held in New York City on September 22-28. But if can’t make it in person, there’ll be live event updates on all Climate Week NYC social media accounts.

Convened by The Climate Group, this year's edition of Climate Week NYC is the collaborative space for all events in support of the UN Climate Summit, and to date 80 affiliate events have been confirmed. These will include conferences, discussion panels, video screenings and also exhibitions, with topics ranging from political decision-making to carbon finance mechanisms to technological innovation.

If you’re keen to attend but can’t make it in person there’ll be live event updates on all Climate Week NYC social media accounts, including the Climate Week NYC Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The Twitter account @ClimateWeekNYC is recognized as the most current information source for the week’s activities and has a committed following from global climate activists. In addition, the account also provides news and insights from other leading environmental organizations.

By following these accounts, and retweeting and sharing events, you can be part of the global clean revolution. Connecting on social media is a great way to get involved and be pro-active in generating awareness of climate change. The week’s events have the potential to build momentum towards an ambitious but achievable global climate agreement in Paris 2015, but we need to get the message out. With your help, the call for climate action can be amplified.

To ensure effective climate action is realized join the Climate Week NYC online climate community; every voice counts!
