What is Climate Week NYC?

Climate Week NYC 2026 brought together heads of state, global business leaders, governments, philanthropic leaders and civil society to shape our future.
 
Organised by Climate Group in coordination with the UN General Assembly, the event turned momentum into real-world impact, putting people at the heart of the climate debate while building the business case for the transition. Through innovation and collaboration, Climate Week NYC connected business leaders, policymakers and communities from around the world in New York City.

Opening Ceremony

Acting as the official launch of Climate Week NYC each year, the Opening Ceremony is where leaders and experts gave their views on the world we're shaping for our generation, and those to come. Senior audiences can expect clear perspectives on policy, markets and leadership, alongside moments of alignment that catalyze momentum and collective action at scale. 

The Hub Live

The Hub Live features curated conversations and high-level interviews that cut through the noise. It’s where leaders share what is working, confront what is not, and explore how to scale solutions, fast. It’s a dynamic moment for cross-sector engagement and momentum-building.

Alongside the UN General Assembly, every year Climate Week NYC brings together the world-leading experts who shape capital flows, electrification, AI, supply chains, industrial strategies, and long-term growth across sectors and regions.
