Manager – Transformation Teams, We Mean Business

The Climate Group is looking for a talented, ambitious and experienced energy and climate professional to join its dynamic team in New Delhi as Manager – Transformation Teams (TT) with the We Mean Business (WMB) coalition, of which The Climate Group is a core partner. This is a global role which aims to support the coordination and work of We Mean Business coalition partners to achieve impact in key systems, and provide connectivity with the partners in the Asia region, with a focus on India, China, and Japan. The TT manager role will be sited at The Climate Group, in our New Delhi office. 

We Mean Business has established Transformation Teams to help the coalition drive systemic transformation in priority sectors to move the global economy towards net zero emissions by 2050. WMB currently has four Transformation Teams (TTs) - Zero Carbon Economies, Zero Carbon Transport, Zero Carbon Built Environment, and Zero Carbon Power. The Transformation Teams are comprised of colleagues from across the various partner organizations in the coalition and are designed to ratchet WMB’s work in a streamlined way with the intent of creating more focused and systemic impact in the four identified areas.

Manager- Energy Transitions, India

The Climate Group is seeking a talented, ambitious and experienced energy and development policy professional to join its dynamic team in New Delhi as a Manager – Energy Transitions, India. The role is India-specific and will work as part of The Climate Group’s Business Action team. 

Our Business Action programs help to  accelerate the clean energy transition through a range of global campaigns – RE100, EP100 and EV100 - designed to secure climate commitment and action from the most influential companies: from growing demand for renewables and electric vehicles to investing in smart energy systems including cooling technologies. We work with businesses to share insights, communicate best practices, and leverage this demand to encourage governments to take bolder targets and supportive policies.

Marketing Automation (Pardot) Implementation Consultant

The Climate Group works with many thousands of stakeholders, including hundreds of multinational businesses and state and regions.

We are investing in our digital marketing systems to help secure greater, faster climate action across the world. We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in Pardot implementation to fill a role as Marketing Automation Implementation Consultant. This role will sit within the global Fundraising team with strong links to the Communications and I.T. teams and working closely with the other direct stakeholder engagement divisions of The Climate Group (Business Actions and Under2 Coalition teams). The Climate Group has recently subscribed to Salesforce Pardot and is seeking to roll out during 2020. We are also looking for support in how to maximise the benefits of the system for our teams’ work. The role will lead Pardot implementation, advise and assist teams on the data management to enable this and help us to better maximise digital data-based techniques to increase our impact on climate change and the funding of our work. 

Contract: Fixed-term for six months

Head of Events

The Climate Group is responsible for running Climate Week NYC, the biggest Climate Week event in the world. Having tripled in size over the past three years, we now have ambitions to build our purpose-led international events and networking capability to a much greater level.  We are looking for a leading events practitioner to help us do this. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced events professional to build a global operation for an international NGO and through our events make a big contribution to accelerating climate action.

The Events and Audience Engagement Adviser is a new role in a growing team at The Climate Group. RE100 Senior Campaign Manager

An opportunity to join a leading international climate NGO working with over 200 multinational businesses to drive rapid expansion of renewable electricity.

We are seeking a dynamic RE100 Senior Campaign Manager to drive delivery of our ambitious campaign strategy.

RE100 is a prize-winning initiative run by The Climate Group in partnership with CDP and brings together the world’s most influential businesses committed to sourcing 100% renewable electricity.  Now in its fifth year, RE100 is highly regarded as a global force for positive change, with over 200 signatories including global giants such as HSBC, Sony, Google, Walmart and Ikea, and regional hubs in Europe, Asia and the USA.   RE100 is a highly impactful campaign, stimulating significant investment in renewable electricity and cited as a major energy policy influencer in Europe and Asia.  

Reporting to the Head of RE100 and with potential for line management responsibilities, The Senior Campaign Manager works within a core team of six, the broader Climate Group team, and partner organisations in China, India, US, Europe, Japan, Australia and Taiwan.  

The role offers significant opportunity for professional development for an ambitious person with a passion for creating a sustainable future. Some international travel will be required.

Corporate Engagement Manager, North America

The Climate Group’s Business Action team delivers a range of global campaigns designed to secure climate commitment and action from the world’s most influential companies: from growing demand for renewable energy, electric vehicles and low carbon steel, to investing in smart energy systems including cooling technologies and LED lighting  We work with these businesses to share practical insights, communicate best practice, and leverage their demand to encourage governments to provide bold targets and supportive policies.

The Corporate Engagement Manager, North America works within The Climate Group’s Business Action Team and has responsibility for working across the global RE100 and EP100 business action campaigns to identify, cultivate, recruit and work with North American members to drive change and increase impact. The Corporate Engagement Manager, North America, will direct the engagement strategy for North American headquartered members, including F500 companies across our global RE100 and EP100 business action campaigns.

Program Manager, EV100

EV100 is a global initiative bringing together forward-looking companies committed to accelerating the transition to electro-mobility and making electric transport the new normal by 2030.  We are seeking a Program Manager to work with the US Business action team to drive forward the US based EV100 campaign agenda. This would include growing EV100 membership, leading US based EV policy and market development, managing external US based EV100 partnerships, and coordinating EV100’s US corporate member activities in close coordination with the EV100 campaign team based at the The Climate Group’s HQ office in London.

Knowledge and Learning Manager

The Under2 Coalition is a global community of state and regional governments committed to ambitious climate action in line with the Paris Agreement. The coalition brings together more than 220 governments who represent over 1.3 billion people and 43% of the global economy. These governments include signatories to the Under2 Memorandum of Understanding as well as national endorsers and other supporters.  The Knowledge and Learning Manager will be responsible for supporting the creation and delivery of the Knowledge Management Strategy for the Climate Pathway and the Climate Footprint projects to ensure the diffusion of learning and best practice between all levels of governments and the Under2 Coalition. The post holder will support the projects leads on the design and delivery of activities and the work of the consortium partners.

Business Development and Partnerships Manager

The Climate Group is seeking an experienced professional with a background in generating revenue from corporates through membership and partnerships to fill a role as Business Development and Partnerships Manager. This role will work within the Global Fundraising team to help increase The Climate Group’s impact in accelerating climate action particularly by supporting the corporate transition to renewable energy, increased energy productivity and electro-mobility. The Business Development and Partnerships Manager will work to streamline and strengthen The Climate Group’s corporate membership program and will work across teams to develop and refine opportunities to build creative corporate partnerships which drive income and support our mission.

Senior Project Manager, Business Action

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Project Manager to design, develop and drive forward a major new initiative that will accelerate ambition and investment in zero carbon steel production amongst major steel companies.

Steel is a key sector in the energy transition. It is the world’s largest materials industry with a turnover of 1 trillion US dollars, and is 10 times larger than the aluminium industry, more than seven times larger than the copper industry and four times that of the cement industry. As recognised by the EU in its long-term strategy, heavy industry sectors will play a key role in reaching carbon neutrality by 2050, and this project will be focused on developing a compelling demand signal for zero carbon steel. A further ambition is to develop a replicable approach and model that could be used to drive forward change in other priority heavy industrial sectors, including cement and chemicals.
