This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced policy advocacy manager to help drive the transition to zero carbon transport system. 

The Climate Group’s international EV100 initiative brings together international companies committed to drive the transition to electric vehicles and set the example in their own operations by 2030. 

The EV100 Senior Policy Manager will be driving the initiative’s international policy strategy, working with member companies to influence crucial policy debates towards the rapid transition towards zero carbon transport, and highlight the crucial role of corporate fleet leadership within that.

Campaign and Communications Manager - COP26 Zero Emission Vehicle Campaign

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual to play an instrumental role in developing and delivering a global campaign to promote leadership on zero emission vehicles in the run up to the international climate negotiations (COP26) in Glasgow in November 2021.  

Clean transport is one of the key themes being promoted by the UK government as it holds the COP26 Presidency, with a focus on speeding up the transition to zero emission vehicles. In this context, the Climate Group will be working alongside partners to run a major campaign over the coming year - to inspire and promote leadership from businesses and sub-national governments, helping to drive stronger ambition from national governments.  

This campaign will build on and amplify the Climate Group’s existing portfolio of transport work, especially its international corporate leadership initiative EV100 and the sub-national government platform ZEV Community as part of the Under 2 Coalition. It will be developed in close coordination with the UK COP26 Presidency and the UN High-Level Climate Champions’ team, as well as a broad range of related stakeholders and partners.

Assistant Accountant

The Climate Group are currently offering a new opportunity as an Assistant Accountant to join our UK office in London. As an Assistant Accountant, you will play a very important role in assisting the Senior Finance Manager in the timely preparation and reporting of monthly management accounts and ensuring the Climate Group finance policies are adhered to. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks therefore having great organisational skills, an excellent eye for detail, good interpersonal skills and the ability to work under pressure is all paramount to this role. Senior Communications Manager - India

Opportunity to lead communication for a global climate non-profit’s New Delhi office, as part of an international team working with businesses and governments.

The Climate Group is already having a major impact on global electricity and vehicle markets.  Working with business and governments we have influenced millions of vehicles to go electric and the electricity demand of a large country to go renewable. We run the world’s largest climate week. In India we have multiple programmes which focus on building prosperity while helping shift industrial, transport, built environment and energy systems to a cleaner future. But we need to do much more.

To further our mission, we need to significantly uplift our communications activities. That is why we need you – a talented, ambitious and high performing, Senior Manager for Communications to join our team.  We are looking to further positive relations with current and future partners, build engagement with our programmes, help lead agendas in our areas of focus. We also wish to enhance how we tell the positive stories of climate action whether through media, or directly through digital communications. 

We are looking for an entrepreneurial communications professional who will not stop to ensure key outcomes for our current programmes are delivered while also building future activity and helping to pitch that to funders. They need to be very experienced in communications, with a background of success in working with senior figures in business and/or government (both preferable). As well as taking a senior role in the Delhi office, you will join a talented multidisciplined international team, providing significant opportunities for development.
