Project Coordinator – Under2 Coalition (Maternity Cover – 12-month contract)

An opportunity to join leading international climate NGO’s London HQ, working on ground-breaking programs with business and governments. The Climate Group is looking for a talented and ambitious individual interested in making a difference on climate change by working directly with a group of ambitious governments from all over the world. You will have the opportunity to play a critical role in coordinating the Under2 Coalition’s engagement work with member governments and play a key role in managing the Future Fund initiative. This is an early career opportunity, but we expect that the successful candidate will have strong skills in project coordination, be a good communicator and will have the flexibility to work cross culturally and across a range of functional areas.

Full time, fixed term contract for 12 months (maternity cover)

Senior Manager, Business Action

The Climate Group’s Business Action team delivers a range of global campaigns designed to secure climate commitment and action from the world’s most influential companies: from growing demand for renewable energy, electric vehicles and low carbon steel, to investing in smart energy systems including cooling technologies and LED lighting  We work with these businesses to share practical insights, communicate best practice, and leverage their demand to encourage governments to provide bold targets and supportive policies.

The Senior Manager, Business Action has responsibility for working across the campaigns to identify and coordinate innovative approaches to cultivate, recruit and work with members to drive change and increase impact. The post holder focuses in particular on the design and oversight of the Business Action team’s contribution to key national and international ‘summits’ including Climate Week NYC, COP and London Climate Action Week.

Marketing Automation (Pardot) Implementation Consultant

The Climate Group works with many thousands of stakeholders, including hundreds of multinational businesses and state and regions.

We are investing in our digital marketing systems to help secure greater, faster climate action across the world. We are seeking an experienced professional with a background in Pardot implementation to fill a role as Marketing Automation Implementation Consultant. This role will sit within the global Fundraising team with strong links to the Communications and I.T. teams and working closely with the other direct stakeholder engagement divisions of The Climate Group (Business Actions and Under2 Coalition teams). The Climate Group has recently subscribed to Salesforce Pardot and is seeking to roll out during 2020. We are also looking for support in how to maximise the benefits of the system for our teams’ work. The role will lead Pardot implementation, advise and assist teams on the data management to enable this and help us to better maximise digital data-based techniques to increase our impact on climate change and the funding of our work. 

Contract: Fixed-term for six months

Events and Audience Engagement Co-ordinator

The Events and Audience Engagement Co-ordinator is a new role in a growing team at The Climate Group. Primarily responsible for overseeing delegate management and audience engagement across a range of events hosted by The Climate Group, with a particular emphasis on Climate Week NYC. The creation of this role responds to growing demand for our internationally acclaimed events, frequently oversubscribed, and will ensure that we support attendance of our events with the most relevant and influential stakeholders in our mission to tackle climate change.

Corporate Engagement Manager, North America

The Corporate Engagement Manager, North America works within The Climate Group’s Business Action Team and has responsibility for working across the global RE100 and EP100 business action campaigns to identify, cultivate, recruit and work with North American members to drive change and increase impact. The Corporate Engagement Manager, North America, will direct the engagement strategy for North American headquartered members, including F500 companies across our global RE100 and EP100 business action campaigns.

Program Manager, EV100

The Climate Group’s Business Action team delivers a range of global campaigns designed to secure climate commitment and action from the world’s most influential companies: from growing demand for renewable energy, electric vehicles and low carbon steel, to investing in smart energy systems including cooling technologies and LED lighting  We work with these businesses to share practical insights, communicate best practice, and leverage their demand to encourage governments to provide bold targets and supportive policies.

EV100 is a global initiative bringing together forward-looking companies committed to accelerating the transition to electro-mobility and making electric transport the new normal by 2030.  We are seeking a Program Manager to work with the US Business action team to drive forward the US based EV100 campaign agenda. This would include growing EV100 membership, leading US based EV policy and market development, managing external US based EV100 partnerships, and coordinating EV100’s US corporate member activities in close coordination with the EV100 campaign team based at the The Climate Group’s HQ office in London.

Location: New York City, USA

Contract: 18 months full-time with an option to extend

General expressions of interest for volunteering can be submitted by clicking the link below. Please indicate if you are interested in volunteering in the London, New York, or New Delhi office. Please include a CV and cover letter, noting which area of our work you are interested in, the period you would be available for and how many hours per week you could commit to.

Volunteer positions are unpaid, but a daily stipend to cover appropriate travel and lunch expenses is provided.

Please note that opportunities for volunteering vary through the year depending on business needs so we are unable guarantee availability or timing of placements.
