Project Coordinator - Energy Transitions, India

An opportunity to develop and implement an exciting project involving Indian corporate action on electric mobility for a global non-profit at its New Delhi office, as part of an international team working with businesses and government.

The Climate Group is already having a major impact on global electricity and vehicle markets. Working with business and governments we have influenced millions of vehicles to go electric and the electricity demand of a large country to go renewable. We run the world’s largest climate week. In India we have multiple programmes which focus on building prosperity while helping shift industrial, transport, built environment and energy systems to a cleaner future. But we need to do much more.

The position is a full-time opportunity for an upcoming project, with an initial 12-month offer to begin. It is a project-based position, the renewal will be subject to new funding.

Senior Institutional Development Manager (Temporary – Maternity Leave)

The Climate Group is seeking an experienced development professional with a background in institutional fundraising to support the U.S. development team with maternity leave coverage. 

The role includes responsibilities to manage and execute on existing cultivation and solicitation plans, identify new prospects, steward relationships, and manage the Senior Development Officer. The Senior Manager will support all streams of fundraising as needed during the leave period but provide specific leadership on corporate and foundation partnerships.

Goals during this period include supporting efforts to meet, and exceed, revenue targets with a primary focus on identifying and securing unrestricted and core operating institutional resources. The person holding this position will lead relationship management and income generation from these funding sources in line with the U.S. fundraising strategy.

Senior Communications Officer

We are looking for a talented, ambitious, high potential Senior Communications Officer to join our team. We need someone who has a flair for promotion, a nose for a story, who’s secured media coverage but also appreciates wider comms too, especially how to work with stakeholders in business and government. This role would suit someone who is able to think tactically and both grab and create opportunities all while bringing colleagues and external contacts with you. This position comes with major personal development and growth potential.

The Senior Communications Officer plays a critical role in driving the and implementing our international media and communications strategy for the Climate Group. You will also have responsibility for the strategic communications management and delivery of our work in industry – which is currently focused around our SteelZero project with expansion to other areas likely.

This role entails a wide range of responsibilities from ensuring our external messaging aligns with our organisational objectives, to developing media plans and releases for the Climate Group and drafting content for a variety of channels. You will also lead the media strategy for our flagship international summit, Climate Week NYC.

Engagement Manager, EP100

EV100 Senior Policy Manager

This role is an exciting opportunity for an experienced policy advocacy manager to help drive the transition to zero carbon transport system. 

The Climate Group’s international EV100 initiative brings together international companies committed to drive the transition to electric vehicles and set the example in their own operations by 2030. 

The EV100 Senior Policy Manager will be driving the initiative’s international policy strategy, working with member companies to influence crucial policy debates towards the rapid transition towards zero carbon transport, and highlight the crucial role of corporate fleet leadership within that.

RE100 Senior Officer

We are seeking a dynamic RE100 Senior Officer to work as part of the Climate Group’s Energy System initiatives. The post holder will be responsible for supporting the development and delivery of impactful advocacy activities to increase our effectiveness in key regions, focusing initially on Asia-Pacific.

Reporting to the Senior Impact Manager of RE100, the role involves close working relationships with the core team and colleagues from the Climate Group’s international offices and partner organisations in India, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Sitting within our business action team, the role is based in London.

Project Management Office (PMO) Manager

The Climate Group is looking for a talented and experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager to support the delivery of two of the Under2 Coalition's multi-million international climate change projects funded by the German and Norwegian governments. The PMO Manager is responsible for ensuring donor compliance, including leading budget management and partner contract management, monitoring and reporting, and ensuring that rigorous project management standards are maintained.
