Turning commitment into action – how EV100 members drive change

Companies join EV100 by making an ambitious commitment: to fully electrify their corporate fleets.

They advance towards this goal, year on year, step by step, turning their commitment into operational reality. This means working through challenges and driving innovative solutions, and it means advocating for conditions that will help accelerate the EV transition so that no company and no person is left behind.

That's how we drive change in markets around the world.

Members join with a deadline that reflects the market realities they operate in, and commit to electrify cars, vans, trucks – or all three.

Companies at the early stage of their EV journey can join in a new pre-commitment tier: the EV100 Pledge Network (EVPN).

As a leadership coalition, our commitments always outpace existing regulation – and we work with members to ensure their actions go beyond their commitments.

The roadmaps EV100 members create for themselves are a blueprint for driving this transition with real speed and ambition – often against the odds.

We share our goal to accelerate the EV transition.

EV100 works closely with other NGOs and transport initiatives who share our vision for the future of electric road transport. We work together to shape the EV agenda and enhance our global reach through policy alignment, market insights, and coordinated activities.

We facilitate peer learning, share best practices, and provide practical tools – including roadmaps – via events, briefings, and our dedicated online Members’ Hub. Focus areas include grid integration solutions and innovative financing models, insights into change management, policy mapping and making the business case for fleet electrification.

Our vision

Clean, healthy, smart road transport – for all. Transport is the fastest-growing source of global carbon emissions – and three quarters (75%) of those emissions come from road transport.

The electrification across all vehicle segments – cars, vans, trucks – will cut millions of tonnes of CO2 every year, curbing air pollution at the same time. It’s one of the most effective ways for any company or country to drive climate action, fast.
