Jon Williams is a Managing Director and Global Financial Services Sustainability Leader at Accenture plc, the professional services company specialising in information technology services and consulting. Previously he was a partner with PwC, where he chaired their UK Sustainability practice and was their Global Banking & Capital Markets Sustainability Leader. He was also a Mental Health and Social Mobility Partner Advocate, and is a trained Mental Health First Aider.
Until December 2023, Jon was a member of the Financial Stability Board Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures and was previously a Project Adviser to the World Economic Forum for the Critical Mass Initiative, the Energy Access Partnership and the Climate Governance Initiative. He was also a previous chair of the Equator Principles and an adviser to the UK Green investment Bank and on the sustainability advisory board of a European bank.
Jon is Vice Chair of Governors at Berkhamsted Schools Group, with responsibility for Child Protection and chairs the Risk and Regulatory Committee. Prior to joining PwC, Jon worked for HSBC for 21 years in Asia and Europe, most recently as Group Head of Sustainable Development.
