Louisa Plotnick is the Head of Programs for North America at the Climate Group. Louisa joined the Climate Group in August 2019. She currently works to deliver global impact across the Climate Group’s business action campaigns, RE100, EP100, EV100 and the Under2 Coalition to shift to a net zero economy. Louisa has significant industry background in the climate space working collaboratively across the public, private and non-profit sectors to accelerate the transition to a clean energy future.
Before the Climate Group, Louisa served as Director, Cleantech Innovation & Partnerships at the Northeast Clean Energy Council (NECEC) where she was responsible for strategy and execution for NECEC’s Cleantech, Innovation and Strategic Partner programs in New York State. Prior to NECEC, she served as Senior Director at the Clinton Climate Initiative and Program Director at the C40 Cities Climate Leadership Group where she led global energy efficiency programs.
Louisa was also a Program Manager at the New York State Energy Research and Development Authority (NYSERDA) responsible for developing and executing NYSERDA’s downstate energy related programs. Louisa began her career in the private sector at Johnson Controls, Inc.
