Hosted by Global Shapers North American Climate and Environment Town Hall

The Global Shapers Community is a network of young people driving dialogue, action and change. Formed as an initiative of the World Economic Forum in 2011, over the past decade, the Shapers have grown to represent almost five-hundred chapters around the world and encompass almost eight-thousand members in almost every country on earth.

The North American Shapers Committee on Climate and Environment is hosting a regional town hall to bring together young environmental leaders from Canada and the United States to drive action towards net zero emissions in both countries. During this strategic session, leaders will:

1. Explore and reaffirm the vision and goals from the Committee's 2020 strategy

2. Identify shared priorities and barriers in North American climate and environment work of Shapers

3. Develop ideas and collaboration opportunities for Shapers to take on new and different projects with a deep-dive into topics of Climate Finance, Climate Justice, Circular Economy, and Net Zero

4. Create open space for sharing, dreaming, and collaboration between North American Climate Shapers

The conclusion of the event will focus on the unveiling of a special announcement born out of a recent global survey of youth priorities on net zero emissions.

This event is by invitation only.
