We invited our member businesses, governments, and wider North American networks to join us virtually for the inaugural US Climate Action Summit digital day on April 21, 2022 to increase momentum and drive US climate action at all levels.
For years, states, cities, businesses and the public have driven US climate action. Now, with a renewed federal climate agenda, this is our chance to limit warming to 1.5°C and rebuild the clean economy in this decade.
Building on our successful collaboration with President Biden’s Leaders’ Summit on Climate in 2021, we invited our networks of government, business, and civil society groups to join us virtually from across the continent and the world to accelerate climate action for a cleaner future for all.
Our 2022 digital agenda presented two 60-minute plenary sessions, and a series of breakout, closed-door roundtables designed to promote shared learning and build connections across our initiatives. The goal was to advance state climate strategies and business ambition by fostering cross-sector partnerships, increased ambition, and innovative solutions that leverage federal climate funding.
Watch the event recordings on demand if you missed the event, any of the plenaries or would like to watch the sessions again.
