Sam Kimmins

Director of Energy

Sam is Director of Energy at Climate Group. He has 30 years’ experience, driving systemic change in the energy, transport and construction sectors.

He leads the energy work at Climate Group, accelerating the global roll out of renewables and energy efficiency measures, through the RE100 initiative, EP100 energy efficiency initiative, and the 24/7 Carbon Free Coalition.

Prior to joining Climate Group, Sam spearheaded Forum for the Future’s Sustainable Shipping Initiative, which won the Guardian Sustainable Business Award for innovative consultancy. 

Sam has a MSc in Pollution and Environmental Control from the University of Manchester and a BSc in Natural Environmental Science from Sheffield University.
