US Leaders' Forum

April 30, 2026

Back for its sixth year, the US Leaders’ Forum will bring together the largest and most prominent coalition of subnational and federal leaders, C-Suite level executives from the private sector and NGO decision makers who are committed to the US leading on efficiency, resilience and mitigation.

What is the US Leaders' Forum?

The US Leaders’ Forum, taking place in Washington DC, convenes US leaders from the worlds of business, government and the nonprofit space to explore what public-private leadership for sustainability resilience and mitigation looks like today. We do this by curating a range of open- and closed-door sessions, workshops, briefings and collaborative opportunities, bringing together some of the most influential leaders from states, the private sector and the nonprofit space, as well as opportunities to engage with Federal leadership.

US Leaders' Forum programming

Spotlight sessions

In-depth conversations with a wide range of voices and perspectives on the biggest challenges facing US leadership. These sessions are hosted in front of a live audience with highlights shared online, and will focus on implementing and integrating public, private and third-sector action. Spotlight sessions are open to all registered attendees.

Implementation agenda

A full agenda of in-person workshops, collaborative meetings, and dealmaking sessions held behind closed doors, creating an effective and constructive space for candid conversations and knowledge-led outcomes. Sessions are structured around progressing the bold, tangible actions needed to address the current political and environmental challenges.

Networking

The US Leaders’ Forum invests in the power of networks by creating a series of formal and informal opportunities to meet, collaborate and accelerate decision making, deals and partnerships.

Leaders' Forum Reception

The Leaders’ Forum culminates in a high-profile evening reception and networking event which brings together our key speakers, partners, participants, and wider network.

Impact

The theme for the 2026 US Leaders’ Forum was Moving US Forward. The goal: close the gap between ambition and execution, remove barriers to progress, and elevate the leadership role of states and businesses.

Through a mix of public sessions and closed-door dealmaking on supply chains, insurance, workforce resilience, and clean air and water, the Forum took an all-of-society approach to US safety and security. Core initiatives—RE100, EV100, ConcreteZero, SteelZero, and the Under2 Coalition—anchored the program and focused attention on the most urgent resilience challenges facing the US today.

The #1 takeaway from the 2026 US Leaders’ Forum was simple: there is no shortage of ambition - the US gap is execution. Across every session, from the closed-door implementation roundtables to the closing argument on the Spotlight stage, the more than 300 US leaders in the room weren't debating whether to act. They were working out how.
