In addition, their practices also support the preservation of cultural diversity, sustainable resource management, and biodiversity, all of which are essential for successful climate adaptation.

The seven case studies featured in this compendium showcase the innovative and effective climate adaptation practices used by the communities. They highlight how indigenous knowledge, when combined with scientific research, can accelerate climate action and inspire simple and impactful solutions.
