Development and evaluation of Amazonas' decarbonisation pathway

Amazonas has adopted seven priority actions, as part of its decarbonisation pathway, to help deliver its ambitious goals.

With the implementation of these actions, Amazonas is expected to achieve a 27% reduction in GHG emissions by 2030 compared to BAU levels, and a 97% reduction in GHG emissions by 2050 compared to BAU levels. 

The adoption of a clearly constructed decarbonisation pathway, combined with selected policy actions, demonstrates Amazonas' ability to deliver a transformational process that is aligned with existing climate policies.
