2030 Plan for Green Economy: The government is releasing the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy, signalling the start of an ambitious project to electrify the economy and fight climate change. Thereby, it lays the foundations of a green and prosperous economy by 2030. With the 2030 Plan for a Green Economy, the government is charting a roadmap for the next 10 years. It is also reiterating its target for 2030: to reduce Québec’s greenhouse gas emissions by 37.5% below 1990 levels by 2030. Achieving this target will require substantial effort from everyone. However, it will also offer new opportunities to improve Quebecers’ lives and enrich Québec as a whole

The Québec government has released its energy policy for 2030, L'énergie des Québécois — Source de croissance, a policy that puts the consumer at the centre of future actions

Critical & Strategic Minerals: Québec's subsoil is rich in various critical and strategic minerals (CSMs) such as copper, graphite, niobium, zinc, cobalt, nickel, titanium and lithium. These minerals are essential in our daily lives and in Québec's energy transition by contributing to the decarbonization of the economy.
