Hosted by North Carolina Council of Churches and North Carolina Interfaith Power & Light
Join us on Monday, April 26 at 11 a.m. for our 2021 Legislative Seminar virtual opening worship service and award ceremony.
Each time the Council holds its biennial Legislative Seminar, it honors those whose public lives reflect their faith commitments with its Faith Active in Public Life Award. This year, the Council is proud to honor Michael S. Regan, EPA Administrator and former Secretary of the North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality.
We will begin with a virtual worship service led by Bishop Valerie Melvin, Regional Minister of the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in N.C. and N.C. Council of Churches Governing Board member. The worship service will focus on eco-justice and be followed by an award ceremony honoring Michael Regan.
