Sahra is Head of the Legal team which provides legal advice and support across the organisation. Sahra is responsible for designing frameworks and processes to ensure compliance with the law and to protect our business and assets from risk.
Sahra joined the Climate Group in 2019 as its first legal adviser and has been responsible for developing the legal function. She is an experienced in-house lawyer having worked both within the legal department of a multi-national company and as a sole lawyer and company secretary for an SME. Sahra has varied legal experience including commercial contracts, data protection, employment law, corporate and finance matters. She has a law degree from University College London and qualified as a solicitor with a large law firm in the City of London.
