Amy Davidsen to leave the Climate Group
After 12 years as Executive Director of the Climate Group for North America, Amy Davidsen has decided it’s time for a new challenge and is stepping down from the Climate Group as of the end of September. Climate Group and its North America Board are very grateful for Amy’s major contribution to our organisation and what she has helped build.
Amy has been a hugely respected ambassador for the climate cause throughout this time. She brought a strong, positive voice for American business to engage in climate action through our successful RE100, EP100 and EV100 campaigns on energy and transport. She extensively worked with and supported many US states and Canadian provinces on their climate policy leadership. Amy has, of course, also been a key member of the team growing Climate Week NYC into a powerful moment for global climate action. In fact, the French Government recently recognised Amy’s service to tackling climate change and the environment by awarding her the National Order of Merit.
Amy now plans to take a well-deserved break before exploring her next move in the climate space.

Search for New Executive Director
Building on what Amy has achieved, Climate Group is now searching for a new North America Executive Director to drive the work of Climate Group in this vital region of the world.
There has never been a greater need to drive climate action, fast. We are recruiting for an entrepreneurial leader with a track record in advocating climate solutions who is motivated by our mission and vision. We are looking for someone with ambition and inspiration, to help take our work in North America to the next level. They should be ready to develop and drive programmes to achieve deep, rapid cuts in emissions from business and government across the energy, built environment, industry, transport and food systems. The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep commitment to climate justice and model excellence and integrity in all they do.
